Job description:
Translate customers’ needs and into requirements, capacity, and cost for designing products
Assist in the development of acceptance criteria for design methods, quality standards, sustainment after delivery, and completion dates
Compile research on new materials and methods of development to senior management
Design prototypes and confirm designs with the senior management
Check design drawings and ensure that the products meet engineering principles, customer requirements, and environmental regulations
Manage the design, manufacture, and testing of products
Monitor the redesign of products that need to be modified to work successfully
Design or redesign of products, using analysis and computer-aided design tools design software like inventor, solid worksSolid edge, fea in inventor software
Monitor design documentation and record maintenance, drawing standards, gd&t
Ability to select mechanical components including motor, servo, bearings, lm rails, wheels, gears, oil seal etc.
