Hexagon us federal is seeking an experienced quality manager to manage and expand our quality management system (qms)Our goal is to ensure the highest quality service and products are provided to our customers through the performance of regularly scheduled internal/external process audits and the consistent facilitation of continuous improvement activitiesThe quality manager will work within our corporate program management office to embed quality standards within our internal business operations and be responsible for helping our company obtain corporate certificationsThe successful candidate will be detail oriented with an ability to understand and have a passion for quality requirements, possess high energy, and be self-motivatedThe environment demands the ability to work independently but also collaborate across businesses to understand and communicate with coworkers.
Schedule, manage and coordinate corporate certification (e.g., iso surveillance audits, cmmi, etc.) assessment/audits both internally and externally, and manage and execute corrective action plans
Work with external quality assessors and agencies to facilitate certifications
Execute compliance corrective action plans/root cause analysis activities to assure resolutions are implemented robustly in a timely manner and keep leadership apprised of status
Perform & support qms internal audits of business units and technology operations, design and execute audit procedures to verify the effectiveness of existing controls, identify and define issues, review and analyze evidence, and document client processes and procedures, as appropriate
Understand the broader context and implications (e.g., financial, legal, reputational, etc.) of the various types of risk affecting the business and critical technology functions
Communicate and/or assist in communicating the results of audit projects to management via written reports and oral presentations.
Effectively communicate information, issues and audit progress to teammates, leadership, and external auditors
Planning and executing various internal, certification, and surveillance audits (iso 27001, 9001:2015, 27018, as9100, as9110, etc.) and assist with cmmc compliance, as appropriate
Act as liaison for enterprise quality initiatives for the program
Support federal proposal responses as it relates to our qms, as appropriate
Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of experience in quality management
Knowledge and understanding of industry quality standards
Proven experience achieving and maintaining iso and other industry certifications
Proven experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant role
Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to work and connect with it and business process owners
Excellent interpersonal skills and time management
Experience with software development and it service management projects
Experience auditing to external quality standards such as iso 9001/iso 27001/cmmi etc.
Ability to multi-task, complete tasks without direct supervision, and function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Proficiency with ms office products (word, excel, visio, powerpoint, & project)
Ability to support limited local and domestic travel
Certified lean six-sigma green or black belt a plus, but not required
Formal auditor training or certification a plus, but not required
