Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor`s degree in accounting, business, finance, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in accounting/finance/controllership.

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree in accounting, finance or relevant field.
Certified accountant (ca)/certified financial analyst (cfa)/certified public accountant (cpa) certification.
Experience working as a head of finance or similar role in an e-commerce company.
Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models with proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., tally, sap).
Understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation, and bookkeeping and direct experience with budgeting and risk management.
Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Act as a subject-matter expert in area(s) of accounting and controllershipApply exceptional understanding of related area (e.g., product area, finance, entity, country) and its business plans and strategies, and knowledge about the products/area/systems they support.
Share knowledge, experience, and learnings with others to enhance understanding and development of colleagues.
Drive accounting process and controls, accounting process improvement, and audit support.
Data analysis and reportingProject and risk management.
Develop knowledge of tools and applications in support of the accounting function and highlight opportunities for improvement.
