As a category manager you will play a critical role in building and growing the marketThe role demands a unique combination of deep operations ability, commercial prowess, growth mindset, marketing know-how and creativityCategory managers have an end-to-end responsibility for the customer experience and growth of the categoryCategory managers have to translate customer requirements into a roadmapThe successful candidate for this high impact role will be a self-starter with a passion for independent problem-solving, have proven data analysis skills, and have strengths in stakeholder management and negotiations.
Grow the category: manage the category`s growthHelp achieve the set goals and targets for both guides and usersManage the business and all growth experiments to grow getsetup through partnerships and productsDrive multifaceted projects with many stakeholders in different organizations.
Execute on deals and partnerships with influencers: make smart partnerships happenOwn everything from negotiation to execution of various partnerships.
Strategy: lead the category by defining business priorities, setting results-oriented timelines to reach those goals, and making sound financial decisions.
Lead the team: manage team performance, reviews and kpisHire and manage the team that will help run the business.
Marketing: understand and execute on local nuancesTest and experiment with different approaches and see what works for the categoryDrive community initiatives to grow our presence in the community.
Growth-oriented: help us design processes that scale and grow our community of learners.
Product improvement: actively search for new features which could improve the getsetup experienceWork closely with the product team to implement new processes and productsFigure the product needs on the ground and work with the product team to add them to the roadmap.
You have a broad, in-depth, working hand knowledge of the fitness industry and a passion for the same
Existing, high-level relationships with a variety of influencers, and fitness organizations.
Strong social skills and business acumen to manage and guide both our internal and external stakeholders.
Business development skillset and an ability to negotiate high-level deals.
Strong curiosity and a consultative approach to understanding and translating the needs of talent into programming
Appreciation of the nuances that exist in building the first brand catering to older adults
Highly collaborative with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
Strong communication skills and ready to work with a multicultural and multinational team across time zones and build the first global platform for 55+
Able to deal with ambiguity
Adaptable to working successfully in a fast-paced environment with problem-solving skills
