Job duty 1 -
Provide tier iii enabling technology expertise, support, and training to partner faculty, staff, and project teams from initiation to completion for a variety of digital learning initiatives, to include, but not limited to, production it platforms for massive scale online educational content delivery and pilots of emerging and novel academic capabilities.

Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve a wide variety of highly complex platform problems and advanced technical issues.

Assist in the integration and management of the technical aspects of educational content delivery solutions, platform configurations, as well as add-on tools and capabilities.

Compare and contrast digital learning platforms used at georgia tech, either production or pilot, as well as broadly available alternatives.
Job duty 5 -
Oversee documentation and definition of needs and requirements for digital learning usage in courses.
Job duty 6 -
Design/create platform training, technology transfer, standardized configuration, documentation, and support for faculty; and, instructional, unit it, and project staff.
Job duty 7 -
Advise and oversee the development of standard procedures for technology use.
Job duty 8 -
Perform requirements analysis, definition, design, development/modification implementation, integration, pilot, and maintenance activities for new and existing academic applications and platforms.

Provide tactical and strategic advice to project management and partner groups; work closely with faculty and instructional staff on the design, development, and implementation of alternative or novel instructional delivery methods and technologies.

Bachelor`s degree in information or educational technology, engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Other required qualifications
Overnight travel requiring for project delivery; flexibility in on-site daily service delivery hours degree in information or educational technology, (due to client shift schedules, project requirements).
Four to six years of job related experience
Additional preferred qualifications
Preferred skills include web application and/or platform support or educational technology solutions integration and delivery; strong technical writing, documentation, and/or training; knowledge of xml or other markup language; skills in large-scale scripting and automation of tasks
Preferred educational qualifications
Master`s degree in information/educational technology, engineering
Experience working with canvas, service now, kaltura, honorlock, turningpoint, gradescope, turnitin and other digital resources to support teaching and learning.
Experience developing and implementing data analysis, data collection systems, learning outcomes, and other strategies to monitor and support student success in online platforms.
Experience monitoring system usage and generating reports and data visualizations for assessment and data-driven decision making.
Experience with user roles, problems, implementation, maintenance of courses, and troubleshooting user problems in learning management systems.
Experience providing support to faculty, staff, and students on issues related to the lms and its integrated tools.
Experience creating end user and technical documentation.
Experience creating and coordinating communication about learning tools, initiatives, trainings, and other related eventsExperience with developing and delivering training faculty in the use of academic technology platforms and tools.
Preferred education: master`s degree in educational/instructional technology, business administration, information and/or data science or related field..

This job requires proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex customer technology and vendor issues; skills in application development, integration administration, and service delivery, particularly web, digital media, educational technology, or cloud-based applications, services, and capabilities; proven ability to plan, organize, and multitask in order to meet deadlines, and to coordinate the work of others; excellent skills in service delivery, customer focus, and relationship management; intermediate to advanced knowledge of office applications; advanced knowledge of multiple operating system environments, including multiple web browsers and digital media production and playback tools; excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to plan and execute communications and training, excellent team and interpersonal skills in a matrix environment; ability to foster teamwork within team and with partners; highly responsive, positive, organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to effectively coordinate and multi-task among competing priorities; working knowledge of massive open online courses, online learning, and/or learning management system environments.
