The sales strategy manager, fleet & business solutions (fbs) is responsible for increasing fleet & business member acquisition & retention for a portfolio of products & services including onstar safety & wi-fi services, onstar vehicle insights and connected vehicle data (apis)Partnering with the lob team and understanding fleet & business customers` needs, the successful candidate will develop strategies and initiatives from trial & packaging strategies to new offers, to drive fbs sales performanceThis person will also be responsible for exploring new opportunities to help grow the business.
Responsibilities:
Lead the fbs sales strategy for the digital business sales team to help grow our overall business and achieve okrs
Assess and drive innovative trial, pricing, packaging and offer strategies to grow acquisition, retention and arpu
Gain a deep understanding of the gm subscription model (how we make money)
Use data and analytics to drive business decisions
Create and execute countermeasures designed to hit monthly and annual forecast goals
Drive innovate now process & initiatives to deliver revenue and cost savings targets
Support go-to-market strategies for new product launches
Partner cross-functionally with our crm, campaign management, channel and product teams to drive growth and measure success of initiatives
Effectively communicate state of the business through presentations that focus on performance, key initiatives, countermeasures, etc.
Develop an understanding of, and stay current with, the competitive landscape
Manage partner relationships to help expand marketing reach and gain increased sales performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor`s degree in business, sales & marketing,
Professional sales experience, b2b and/or subscription sales an asset (3+ years minimum)
Understanding of key sales & marketing components (i.e kpis, 4ps, test-and-learn, etc.)
Ability to prioritize assignments, deal with ambiguity, and multi-task within time constraints
Leadership skills to manage in a complex environment
Microsoft suite (word, ppt, excel) and other gm applications
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to resolve issues under tight deadlines
Results driven mentality
Ability to motivate and inspire cross functional teams to meet common business goals
Ability to build relationships and work through challenges with partners
Strong business acumen with the ability to execute on data-driven insights
Preferred qualifications:
Mba or master`s degree
Understanding of subscription business models
