Full job description
Basic qualifications : bachelor`s degree in engineering, plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or master`s degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
10+ years professional experience in systems architecture, engineering and product development
Experience with dod or aerospace systems is required
Pnt systems on army ground vehicles is a plus
Subject matter expert in at least one technical discipline and knowledge in multiple adjacent disciplines
Strong use and understanding of system architecture concepts, principles, and theories
Ability to think creatively
Customer focus with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Deep-dive analytical skills
Ability to quickly synthesize and clearly report relevant information
Strong understanding of project leadership and management principles
Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues, impacts, and corrective actions
Strong computer skills, including microsoft office and testing tools
Familiarity with quality standards for industry and government

Custom hardware and software embedded products for both military and commercial customers

What you bring to the table:
Ability to optimize all phases of work including requirements management, modeling and simulation, risk analysis and formal trade study tools
A phd degree in engineering is highly desired
Excellent communication skills; ability to easily and effectively communicate technical topics to a diverse audience
Commitment to ongoing professional development; always learning and advancing yourself and others
Experience with gps theory and designing position, navigation and timing (pnt) product solutions
Broad technical familiarity in military and commercial pnt systems; along with current and anticipated threats to pnt systems
Countermeasures against navigation warfare (navwar), cyber, or electronic warfare (ew)
Dependencies with other capabilities such as tactical communications, command & control, and targeting
Integration with platforms, weapon systems and other systems that incorporate pnt
Some travel may be required

Rf signal processing
Kalman filters and sensor fusion
Crpa based anti-jam digital electronics design (e.gSfap or stap)
Global navigation satellite systems (gnss) and gps modernization
Techniques supporting gps denied navigation
Hands-on design of hardware including radio frequency (rf) and digital components
Knowledge of logic/fft firmware design on fpgas and software development on embedded processors
