Job summary:
The senior site merchandiser is responsible for the execution of all visual merchandising and user experience as it relates to finding and selecting products on gnc.comThis position will be responsible for multiple categories within the gnc.com web store and will work to ensure that product, promotion and marketing content is accurate and optimized to merchandise products effectively supporting the customer journeyThis position will be responsible for day-to-day catalog management, product integrity, retail readiness and optimizationsThe position will also execute promotions and pricing updates, as well as building and maintaining a customer-centric taxonomy to support owned site experience.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Develop effective digital merchandising programs and strategies to improve customer experience and conversion
Optimize product pages to provide the best possible customer experience and enhance the gnc brand
Report and analyze key performance indicators and category performance on a weekly basis
Partner with site merchandising and ecommerce customer experience team on overall site navigation and merchandising strategy (e.g., site structure, linking)
Manage execution and curation of sorts
Provide insight, learnings and site strategy with product merchant and inventory management team to influence and optimize canada assortment and deliver on business objectives
Responsible for maintaining product integrity, content accuracy as well as overall digital platform taxonomy and categorization
Work with planning partners to help develop digital forecasts that align to in-stock goal targets as determined by gnc expectations
Drive effective digital brand launches and category management to ensure products and categories meet annual growth targets.
Provide weekly and monthly sales reporting while using this information to help identify and educate cross-functional teams on key trends
Plan and execute the structured content calendar; track engagement with content and leverage insights to drive customer engagement optimizations
Create and maintain tracking document for all new products being brought in for the web expansion initiative
Meet weekly with procurement partners to ensure company goal of 95% in-stock rate is upheld and alert them of any promotions that may cause a spike in sales
Complete competitive analysis on pricing to present back to merchant teams & implement pricing changes immediately when possible for web only items

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, site merchandising, e-commerce or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required
5+ years progressive e-commerce merchandising experience preferred
Prior managerial/supervisory experience preferred
Experience with google analytics or other digital marketing analytics providers preferred
High degree of proficiency ms office suite, outlook & internet applications
Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
