Senior robotics engineer
Job duties: design and develop software for the company software infrastructure platform, including the installed on-robot agent, with a focus on the interaction of the platform with robotic hardware and software interfacesDevelop software for physical robotic systems used for internal testing and external demonstration purposesInterface and collaborate with other teams and with external partners and customersParticipate in all stages of the software development life cycle (sdlc) and work closely with other software, hardware, and robotics engineersAct as a liaison to customers, using highly technical understanding of robotics.
Requirements: the position requires a master’s degree in robotics, mechanical engineering, or related field plus 2 years of professional post graduate experience involving the following: robotic perception, path planning, sensor fusion, machine learning, motion planning, and advanced robotic controls; prototyping complex robotics systems to design, develop, and test software features; perform software integration using robot systems; and programming languages and framework including ros, python, and c++.
