Full job description
Flash is seeking a project engineer to join our implementation teamFlash is the fastest growing parking technology solution in the united states and is recognized as the leader in cloud-based software as a service (saas) application in the mobility industryThe project engineer will work closely with our new construction sales managers, superintendents, and project managers dailyThis position will primarily be responsible for creating site specific cad drawings and detailed pdf markups, supplied to clients and contractors, as a reference for installation and infrastructure purposesThe project engineer will play an integral part related to design, solution focused collaboration, and coordination process within the new construction programThis position reports directly to the operations implementation manager and will require up to 20% travel.
What you`ll do:
Design plans using computer-aided design (cad) softwareTranslating engineering sketches and markups into properly documented drawings including schematics, plan and profile, and miscellaneous design details.
Coordinate and participate in project status calls and meetings with clients, architects, engineers, design personnel, and in-house manufacturing teams.
Gather and compile project submittal packages of applicable installation guides and equipment cut sheets.
Provide solution driven information and assistance to project managers throughout the project for required approvals and sign-off.
Communicate at multiple levels both internally and externally with technical understanding and aptitude.
What you have:
Associate degree or higher in drafting and design, engineering, construction science, integrated science and technology, or equivalent from an accredited college or technical school.
Preferably proficient in autodesk autocad software, bluebeam revu , including but not limited to the development of horizontal and layout views, elevation views, vertical profiles, cross sections, existing and proposed site linework, blocks, groups, quantities, dimensioning, viewports, title blocks, and knowledge of cad standards, layers, and best practices.
A basic understanding of electrical circuits, relays, low voltage controls, construction documentation, and plan interpretation is also desired.
Mobility, parking, or access control experience is highly preferred.
Decision making and time management skills.
Understanding of the ada codes and requirements.
Reliability, accountability, responsibility, and a team player.
Ability to use a personal computer and proficiency with google suite applications.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the english language in a business environment.
