The federal reserve is developing a new interbank 24x7x365 real-time gross settlement (rtgs) service with integrated clearing functionality, called the fednow serviceThis service will help enable financial institutions to provide their customers with the ability to send and receive payments any time, any day, and have full access to those funds within secondsThis position is a unique opportunity to be part of a new mission-critical federal reserve initiative that will be transformative to the payments landscape in the united states.
A requirement of this position is that the employee must be fully-vaccinated (1 or 2 shot vaccination) and boosted or qualify for an accommodation from the bank’s vaccination policy; individuals who are unable to be vaccinated due to a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief may request an accommodation from the bank.
The job is eligible for remote work anywhere in the united statesPosition overview this position requires a professional individual contributor providing services to internal stakeholdersThis role will support a wide variety of work to deliver quantitative and qualitative analyses, reports, presentations, processes, and other ad hoc needs across the fednow programThe incumbent is expected to have outstanding data visualization and analytical skills, as well as strong strategic, organizational and leadership skills required to coordinate and support large-scale projects across multiple teams/units and timelines, working in collaboration with a variety of team membersThe incumbent must be able to work independently and to iterate work quickly to meet aggressive timelinesKey responsibilities
Utilizing tableau desktop, prepare presentation materials to capture and communicate key project management metrics and kpis for various levels of audiences within the fednow team.
Conduct a range of analytical, advisory, research, and reporting activities in support of pmo operations.
Identify opportunities for business process improvements and develop solutions to promote the seamless delivery of services.
Lead/participate in a variety of planned or ad-hoc program initiatives.

Other considerations
Ability to work in both an office and virtual environment and to travel to all reserve bank offices as needed.
Ability to perform office duties such as using a computer keyboard.
Work involves sitting most of the time but may involve going to other offices and meeting rooms.
Ability to work in demanding situations and handle multiple priorities.
Minor lifting and carrying (less than 5 pounds).
