Tasks
Hands-on experience in core php and mysql database;
Good experience with relational databases, database keys and joins;
A clear understanding of object-oriented programming, css, html layout;
Strong experience in javascript, ajax, jquery and secure rest api;
Strong skills in json parsing as well as xml for fetching data into the application;
Good knowledge of the application deployment process using ftp;
Basic knowledge of unix command/environment;
Should be able to write the code independently;
Knowledge of php frameworks and cms;
The candidate should be able to follow the best practices of all the languages;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement the features;
Unit-test code for robustness, including use cases, usability, and general reliability;
Identify and correct bottlenecks, work on bug fixing and improving application performance;
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency;
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical/coding requirements;
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as git;
Excellent communication skills and thinking out of the box to achieve the business logic with less impact and revisions;
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle;
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field;
Knowledge of front-end technologies including css3, javascript, and html5;
Understanding of object-oriented php programming;
Previous experience creating scalable applications;
Proficient with code versioning tools including git, mercurial, cvs, and svn;
Familiarity with sql/nosql databases;
Ability to project manage;
