Responsible for the leadership of evolent health’s investor relations programOverall responsibility for the development and implementation of investor relations strategies and policies as well as relationships between the company and its shareholders, the investing public, and other members of the financial community (including financial analysts and institutional investors), to increase the value and marketability of evolent’s stock.
What you’ll be doing:
Serving as the primary point of contact for investor dialogues and acting as the main spokesperson to the financial community on evolent health financial matters
Developing strategies to best communicate key messages to the investment community and shareholders regarding financial performance and business strategy
Overseeing planning and coordination of investor calls (including quarterly earnings calls), visits, meetings and conferences between senior management and members of the investment community
Overseeing the development and implementation of proactive investor relations outreach programs targeted to existing and potential new investors
Overseeing the monitoring and assessment of changes and trends in ownership of the organization`s stock as well as investor and industry trends, competitor financial data and relevant regulations, and advising senior management accordingly
Maintaining a strong internal control environment and consistently demonstrating unquestionable integrity
The experience you’ll need (required):
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economicsMaster’s in business administration degree preferred
10+ years of broad and deep financial experience, with strong track record of creating positive relationships with the investor community, preferably within the health care industry
Deep knowledge and understanding of the capital markets, as well as a thorough understanding of key metrics for companies in the industry
Strong familiarity with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors
Superb verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to draft engaging, concise messaging for investors
Strong understanding of sec laws and securities disclosure requirements
A strong understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets trends, competitor activities, and industry dynamics
Track record as a trusted advisor and business partner, with a team-first attitude
Currently, evolent employees work remotely temporarily due to covid-19As such, we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: high speed internet over 10 mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet routerThese at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.
