What you’ll be doing:
The manager, clinical operations is responsible for the operations of the auth assist team and the member notifications teams and activities to ensure consistent, efficient delivery of servicesThis role establishes and maintains standards of quality, productivity, and performance in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures as well requirements of state and federal regulatory agencies.
This role will work directly with new clients to ensure deliverables are met and coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each client project are compatible with nch’s utilization management department.
Represent the client services department and um teams in meetings with clients and actively participating in implementation meetings, to develop project plans and requirements, scope, project milestones, phases, and elements in coordination management team
Works collaboratively with all departments in support of strategic initiatives directed at improving the quality, efficiency to support the client and the viability of nch
Determine benchmarks, goals and targeted outcomes for auth assist and client services programs with targeted deliverable dates/follow ups
Facilitates changes in workflow, processes, ideas, and other areas of improvement
Ensure compliance with client requirements and business needs to ensure customer satisfaction
The experience you’ll need (required):
Bachelor’s degree or higher, or minimum of 4 years relevant work experience in healthcare and/or managed care
Ability to multiple tasks efficiently and accurately, has exceptional attention to detail and proactively identifies issues and provides proposals for issue resolution
Leading multiple projects at once and ensure strong integration across the organization.
Experience with employee recruitment, training, performance evaluation, retention activities
Advanced skills in ms power point, visio and excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, customer driven, resilient, able to juggle multiple projects and energetic with a strong work ethic
Finishing touches (preferred):
Experience in ms project
Prior experience with utilization management
During the current pandemic evolent employees are working remotely from homeAs such we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: high speed internet over 10 mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet routerThese at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.
