Prime education, a property of everyday health group, is looking for a strategic marketing leader to help grow our business and effectively oversee sustainable audience growth and successful delivery of our educational programs to the appropriate target audiences in order to maximize impact and improve quality health outcomesThe vice president, marketing will be responsible for prime’s marketing strategy and delivery tactics across all channels to (i) meet learner goals with the appropriate target audience; (ii) effectively utilize marketing budget as necessary to ensure delivery; (iii) maximize learner engagement; (iv) build the opted-in database of healthcare professional learners for primeIn order to do so, the vp will establish and ensure consistent tracking of key performance indicators that are utilized on an ongoing basis to drive marketing strategy leveraging various tactics including, but not limited to, dedicated email, onsite and email banner advertising, onsite and email textlinks, and social mediaSince email is a primary traffic driver, this role requires extensive experience and an expertise in email marketing to ensure optimal performance pertaining to deliverability, open and click through rates, and conversionThe vp will also identify, evaluate, and effectively utilize paid promotional channels, which may include paid social campaigns, search engine marketing, and distribution partnerships, as necessary to meet learner goalsTo maximize learner, registration, and attendance conversion, the vp will collaborate with the product and tech teams to establish a seamless user experience that optimizes the accessibility of prime’s education while allowing us to capture the data we need to demonstrate the impact of our programsThe vp will also be responsible for overseeing the creative and copy strategy utilized in our marketing assets to drive learner engagementIn order to do so effectively, you must develop a comprehensive understanding of the value that prime’s programs bring to advancing knowledge and competency among healthcare stakeholdersAnother important objective for the vp will be to establish and execute audience acquisition campaigns to increase the size of prime’s opted-in database over time, thereby increasing the size of our audience and the impact of our programsIn order to execute these strategies, the vp will have two direct reports that support the analysis and creation of marketing assetsYou will also work closely with the deployment team which will implement the strategies that the vp brings forthThe vp, marketing will report to prime’s managing director and will be looked to for your perspective on business priorities and new opportunities as a member of senior management within the organization.
Establish marketing strategies to meet learner goals with the appropriate target audience
Utilize key performance indicators to drive marketing decisions
Optimize email performance to maximize traffic to prime’s programs
Effectively leverage marketing budget as necessary to ensure delivery
Understand and articulate prime’s differentiators
Oversee creative and copy strategy for marketing assets
Collaborate with product and tech teams to optimize leaner experience and conversion
Work with the deployment team to implement the appropriate marketing strategies
Strategize with other members of senior management on business priorities and new opportunities
Bachelor’s degree (focus in marketing preferred, but not required)
At least 7 years of experience in marketing roles
Prior experience in email marketing, with track record of delivering strong performance
Prior experience in healthcareUnderstanding of therapy development/approval, effectiveness studies/processes, healthcare policy
Prior experience in management roles
Excellent analytic skills with the ability to identify and synthesize the appropriate data to drive decisions
Proficient in excel
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with ability to articulate complex information in a concise and easy to understand manner
Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
