Specialist network and systems i (work from home within u.s.) do you want to be part of an amazing company and team! everi is looking for top talent to join our teamWe are looking for a specialist network and systems iiIn this role you will help to support a wide variety of everi products including but not limited to: atms, kiosks, casino games, and other essential everi productsYou will be troubleshooting network issues, provide technical assistance to field technicians, and track problem to resolution.
Responsible for monitoring all issues related to systems, platforms, servers, circuits, and networking equipment
Actively seeks solutions to issues reported by internal or external resources; ensures service level agreements are met
Customarily and regularly assists with tier two telephone calls and trouble tickets from internal and external customers; researches, troubleshoots, and resolves issues, including software, hardware, and connectivity
Creates trouble ticket reporting, as needed
Actively communicates with hardware and software development teams, explaining software errors and follows up with internal and external customers in a timely manner
Responsible for second line troubleshooting of system and network anomalies.
Utilizes customer feedback to identify opportunities to improve products and services, customer service, and processes
Skills knowledge and expertise
4+ years experience in experience in a help desk / technical support environment with intermediate networking, pc, and products knowledge.
Advanced proficiency in microsoft office applications and windows operating systems.
Intermediate networking and configuration skills, including cisco routers and switches, barracuda, fortigate, and sonicwall networking devices.
Intermediate pc, peripherals, and software/application troubleshooting skills.
Strong customer support skills.
Experience with telecommunication (mpls, dsl, cp 3g/4g, and satellite).
High school diploma or ged
Nice to haves
Basic server and sql knowledge
Associate degree in information technology
Network + or ccna certification
