Join the #1 projector manufacturer and a world leader in technology products as a k12 education account manager! the ideal candidate will be located in the greater areas of new york, ny, or boston, maThey will be responsible for building sales of projectors and av products by creating incremental revenue with assigned k12 and higher education end users and all facets of end user account and relationship managementThis position requires knowledge of the audio visual environment in schools and the ability to work with multiple types of channel partners including pro av, it, national solution providers, distribution, and consultants to achieve goals.
Principal accountabilities
In addition to the following epson`s policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Meets or exceeds sales and product objectives in territory by effectively utilizing all resources available
Collaborates with sales manager in development of sales plan
Establishes a strong epson presence within account base at decision maker and management level
Interacts with all appropriate internal and external customers to insure successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies with the customer
Motivates all customer personnel to support sales and marketing efforts of epson products
Identifies and understands the k12 customer’s needs and provides solutions using epson products, programs, and services
Designs and creates marketing programs consistent with corporate strategies that result in achievement of sales quotas and objectives within defined territory
Ensures that marketing funds are focused on k12 schools needs that achieve desired product mix and roi, and considers impact on all epson channels of distribution
Demonstrates products to existing and potential customers, communicates the value proposition, consults, and closes
Keeps abreast of product lines and industry trends and informs epson management on developments and trends that may impact customers’ purchases and other business activities in the near and distant future
Participates in trade shows, reseller seminars and sales meetings
Identifies training needs of schools and tailors training to meet with the customer’s needs
Resolves customer issues in a timely and thorough manner; escalates issues to manager as appropriate
Develops and provides management with monthly revenue forecasts and opportunity pipelines
Adheres to all administrative policies and procedures
Operates within budgetary constraints and submits weekly activity/call reports
Builds strong relationships with departments, peers and managers to best meet company goals and objectives
Requirements
Excellent verbal, written, and relationship communications skills
Minimum of 3 years of account management experience selling to end users, dealers, and consultants
Technically proficient with audio visual, printing, and scanning products and solutions
Ability to travel up to 50% of time throughout entire region
Completion of a bachelor`s degree (b.aOr b.s.) or equivalent
Knowledge of salesforce.com software
