Due to continued growth, our environmental services group is seeking an environmental project manager for our kennesaw, ga, or oklahoma city or tulsa, ok or dallas or houston, tx location.
Responsibilities (including but are not limited to)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage energy development projects working with a multi-discipline team of geographers, ecologists, cultural resource specialists, gis specialists, and engineers.
Manage a team to maintain schedules, budgets, and quality of deliverables.
Develop and maintain key client relationships.
Demonstrated experience developing business: identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and delivering client presentations.
Mentor technical staff.
Support the development of technical content (text, figures, tables) for environmental reports and site feasibility assessments
Support license renewal applications for the nuclear regulatory commission
Required qualifications / skills
Bachelor’s degree in ecology, botany, biology, zoology, geography, archaeology, geology, hydrology, engineering, or closely related fields and 6 years experience or appropriate licenses or certifications indicating achievement in field of specialty and 8 years of applicable experience.
Project management skills with proven financial, schedule, and scope compliance for projects exceeding $1m in fees
Ability to lead a diverse project team that includes client representatives, regulators, scientists, and contractors
Ability to communicate highly technical environmental data to a range of audiences from agency regulators to elected officials and landowners
Experience developing technical reports, environmental reports, and supporting regulatory reviews
Proficient with ms word, excel, and powerpoint
Familiar with developing and maintaining primavera p6 schedules
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel/work in the field 10% of the timeTypical travel duration will be 1-2 daysOffice work is typically 90% of the time for this positionFieldwork can include site visits and meetings with clients and applicable regulatory agencies.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a consistent clear motor vehicle report/driving history
Preferred qualifications / skills
Master’s degree in ecology, botany, biology, zoology, geography, archaeology, geology, hydrology, engineering, or closely related fields
Previous experience permitting utility projects (nuclear, hydropower, renewable and/or oil & gas)
Experience working with federal and state regulatory agencies
