Es&m is seeking an innovative, self-driven, and creative civil engineer with 0-5 years of experience to join our

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Support our interdisciplinary team in the planning, design, permitting, and overseeing construction on a variety of site development, green infrastructure, environmental remediation and climate resiliency projects.
Perform overall site layout, grading utility layout, drainage, and erosion and sediment control design.
Assist with stormwater calculations and modeling, project document reports, and complete quantity take- offs for cost estimates.
Prepare profiles, cross sections, and construction details.
Assist with planning, designing, and permitting projects.
Assist with preparation of contract documents.
Manage construction tasks such as submittals and rfis between the contractor and designers.
Build and manage relationships with in-house teams and contractors while providing design and consulting services that are needed by our clients.
Provide technical support to project managers on environmental assessment and remediation projects.
Perform field sampling, monitoring, and construction oversight.
Assist in data collection and analysis.
Perform administrative duties associated with project management for civil projects.
Minimum requirements
Bachelor`s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field.
Autocad and related autodesk products proficiency.
Proficient in microsoft office (word, excel, powerpoint, project, and teams) and pdf editing software.
Strong logic skills and english writing and communications skills.
Able to multi-task.
Works productively in a team environment.
Able to work independently.
Flexible – can adapt to shifting priorities.
Self-learner and initiative taker.
Can take direction from others and in turn can provide guidance to others.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Able to understand/comply with the big picture/goals of a project.
Able to travel for field assignments.
Valid driver`s license.
Preferred qualifications
Engineer in training (eit) in civil, environmental, chemical, or process engineering.
Hydrology and hydraulic modeling software (e.gHydrocad, sewergems, stormcad, etc.) and arc gis proficiency are a plus.
Interest/experience in the following areas: o site development/redevelopment o stormwater/flood management o low-impact development, green infrastructure o climate resiliency o water/wastewater infrastructure design and operation o earthwork design
Compensation
The civil engineer will be provided with a competitive base salary based on experience, in addition to performance/profit sharing bonusesEach full-time employee is eligible for benefits that include paid sick, vacation, and holidays as well as medical, dental, fmla and life insurancesThe firm also has a robust 401k program that once enrolled provides a company contribution of 3% of salary and has the company has never failed to add a discretionary contribution of 2% of salary.
