Head – programmes
Overall responsibility for managing, planning & development of programmes with the leadership, pme of the programmes, liaising with stakeholders, overseeing the operational & administration aspects of dsf etcWill work closely with leadership to develop strategy for growth opportunities for dsf across geographiesWill be responsible for team-building, training and development of team as per the requirements of dsfReporting to the board members and co-ordinating effectively with the programme managers to ensure the best performance for dsf
Must have demonstrated experience in managing programmes, teams, external partner relations & possess strong communication / presentation skillsKnowledge of sdgs, current global development scenario and public policy expectedInterest and ability to lead & develop teams, entrepreneurial mindset, collaboration and resourcefulness are highly valued.
Responsibility for liaising with external stakeholders, devising and managing process of stakeholder management
Brand ambassador of dsf, developing relationships and linkages with education department, donors and corporates
Handling donors, volunteers and other stakeholders; managing the team and generating interest and motivation, outreach for new partners
Lead in planning, strategizing and managing programs, regular reviews to ensure quality implementation on the ground – from design to execution and reporting phases
Team-building, training / capacity building and management to the requirements of dsf
Establish linkage with the csr wing of companies, specifically at the local geography level.
Support and lead the growing dream school foundation portfolio to build rigorous evidence around different models of implementation
Support programme teams in conceptualizing and designing programs for implementation
Ensure delivery on outcomes by partner/donor organizations as per mutually agreed goals
Masters or equivalent degree required (background in management, social work, public policy or development studies preferred)
Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing programmes and teams
Excellent communication and project management skills
Ability to build & manage relationships with multiple stakeholders
Entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude
The operating style is suited to working in a small organization setting, where teamwork, collaboration and resourcefulness are highly valued
Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to lead multiple programmes at a time
Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience in the field of communications with a strong interest in social/development work
