You will improve and optimize the way engineers write, commit, and ship code to make them happier and more productive.
You will maintain the infrastructure and integrations responsible for delivering an efficient development workflow.
You will collect feedback to architect and implement first-party solutions as needed and evaluate third-party services and solutions that enhance our offering to our engineers.
Bs (or higher, e.g., ms, or phd) in computer science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent technical experience
2+ years of professional software development experience
Extensive experience building and owning distributed backend systems
Skilled at developing and debugging in python and go
Experience working in a hybrid cloud environment that includes aws services
Knowledge of bazel or other build systems is a plus
Experience working on developer productivity is a plus
Experience supporting the big-three desktop platforms is a plus: linux, windows and mac
Industry tooling experience such as terraform, chef, puppet is a plus
