Assistant manager – people experience specialist, dttl people team
Work you’ll do
Deliver top-quality client service; represent the people advisory function for deloitte global.
Interface with client population where appropriate to facilitate straightforward local issues.
Use judgment to escalate non-routine problems to the appropriate talent advisor/hr leader who will determine course of action for resolution.
Understand the hr website and other deloitte online resources to better serve and educate the client on self-service via the intranet.
Provide oversight for developing & maintaining a repository of faq’s addressing majority of the employee concerns and monitor responses of px specialists, as second point of contact for policy queries
Ensure & track progress against the actions agreed in the people advisory operations calls, maintain a tracker of activities and details out the deliverables to ensure all talent advisor’s (ta) are provided timely support to accomplish the outcome of the calls.
Regularly reviews people advisory materials on intranet site and liaise with dttl communications manager to update content.
Set up a feedback mechanism to regularly review the talent process maps, sla’s & templates and keep it relevant with the changes to the processes
Maintain a calendar of people advisory events/actions and ensure ownership and proactive support to ta’s for roll out/launch of events/actions, namely:
O ensure right support for all talent relations communications as required (yammer, newsletters)and ensure all communications are shared in advance with hr stakeholders (dttl communications manager, dttl hr leaders as appropriate)
O develop & review rewards & recognition and business scorecard for business with ta on timely basis
O assist with year-end compensation process as required
O ensure team members accurately handle all admin related inquiries (payroll, benefits, policies) (local and remote) in a timely manner, liaising with the india based team, us location teams and appropriate talent advisors as necessary.
O ensure team’s delivery of excellent service in line with hr process requirements ensuring a high level of accuracy, quality and turnaround of work within agreed timelines.
Support the ta in execution of performance management process for their businesses by:
O ensuring tc provide timely support in setting up talent review calls, determining the review population, facilitate discussion regarding the talent review outcome, maintain trackers, etc.
O review and analyze pm data and highlighting insights, trends and concerns to the tas
O partner with pm team on identifying process efficiencies, troubleshoot process issues and provide solutions
O collaborate with other talent support teams including reporting team, sap team and employee lifecycle events to deliver on the pm processes
Support the ta to deliver the strategy and identify key talent issues or trends facing the business and help formulate and implement actions to address the issues
Build executive level powerpoint presentations using key business and talent metrics to share data with leadership
Work with the ta to continually evaluate organizational and operational structures and identify potential areas for efficiency building.
Participate in adhoc hr projects as needed.
Performance management of the team
Regular check-in meetings with team members providing feedback, development and course correction
Be aware of the current updates and communicate to the team on timely basis.
Monitor, coach, guide, support and encourage the team to reach their self-development support additional learning program administration activities as needed
Participate in regular status and team meetings

The global people team is the hr services center for the global organization of deloitte (dttl)An arm of the global people group, they undertake the entire spectrum of hr service offerings from sourcing, exit management to hris system administration & reportingSome of those activities are job offer rollout, onboarding newly hired professionals, employee care, r&r processing, database management, performance management support, year-end compensation activities, executive reporting and exit management.
Systems and reporting team is the hub of the dttl talent data centre, helping the global firm with its talent data and analyticsThe data we provide and our consultative services are used by different groups of the firm to drive people strategy in terms of the following (and not limited to):
Mba-hr (tier 2 & 3 colleges)
Of work experience in hrbp/hr generalist role
Strong knowledge of broad range of hr aspects (exposure to us hr procedures will be added advantage)
Strong knowledge of sap or other hris systems
Strong knowledge of ms office tools (excel, word, powerpoint)
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbalAble to communicate confidently with a broad range of stakeholders and leaders.
Demonstrated understanding of a broad range of hr procedures and processes
Experience dealing with difficult people in an effective and professional manner
Effective project management skills
Intermediate to advanced skill with word, excel and powerpoint; knowledge of sap and sharepoint preferred
A client-service focus; a professional, friendly and approachable manner coupled with the ability to communicate with staff at all levels, especially when under pressure
Ability to work using your own initiative
Ability to organize work in a fluid and fast-moving environment
Impeccable judgment and professional maturity; demonstrated ability to advise on sensitive issues and facilitate local issues
Exceptional attention to detail
