Sr analyst – engagement financial advisors
The team
This team in government & public services enabling areas, collaborate with members from various departments within our organizationYou will learn about unique requirements related to reporting, billing, and financial management when providing professional services to the government.
Work you’ll do
An efa is responsible for the financial management of contracts throughout the engagement lifecycle, that involves activities such as,
Prepare budgets and forecasts and review baselines to the project and track financial metrics such as revenue, costs, and profitability.
Take part in lifecycle of complex engagemetns including set up, revenue recognition and compliance, monthly accounting close, monitore funding, process vendor invoices, support procurement and billing/collection activities and facilitable engagement closeout.
Interact periodically/bi-weekly with senor level internal and external clients to present various analysis, discuss recommendations and provide engagement financial advice.
Additional financial analysis including reconciliation and variance analysis.
Understand and utilize standard process for engagement financial management, quality management and risk management.
Monitor project performance and determine improvement areas by developing key performance indicators and frequently communicate with the project team, finance department, and other project stakeholders to keep projects on track and within the scope of cost.
Team and collaborate with other efas across the practice, including our practitioners in usa.
Contribute to the growth and development of the overall gps efa practice through active involvement in a practice initiative.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or another similar technical discipline
3-5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting and analysis preferably in a global organization
Understands financial accounting (income statements, balance sheets, cash flows) and financial, and operational metrics/kpis (key performance indicators) used by professional services firms
Demonstrated ability to be a team player who works effectively in a cross-functional environment
Proficiency in ms office (including advanced excel and powerpoint skills)
Demonstrated strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills
In-depth analytical abilities, including issue identification and resolution tracking
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team in a dynamic work environment
Detail-oriented with ability to plan, prioritize, and make decisions on multiple time-sensitive projects
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Good organizational and interpersonal skill
Strong academic track record (preferred minimum 6 to 7 gpa)
Work location: hyderabad
Timings : 2 pm – 11pm
