Location: hyderabad
The key job responsibilities include the following:
Drive technical design discussions and own all design artifacts for the teamGuide the team to arrive at an optimal design
Drive thorough code review sessions to improve code quality
Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers on coding best practices
Ensure the completeness of product technical deliverables
Troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently together with the developers
Jumps into projects in critical stage to work hands-on with the team and facilitates issue resolution and effective project communication.
Perform sap abap /ui programming as required to implement the complex solutions and integrations.
Be the technical focal point for the team in various internal and external forums
Be the team’s representative during customer and partner workshops on need basis
Maintains a solid knowledge base of the functional capabilities of the respective sap modules
Working on problems of relatively complex scope, through general usage of standard programming concepts and principles and application of own judgment
Liaise with a learning group to provide input into training materials
Provide the technical trainings help the developers in upskilling the team
Drive the initiatives like process excellence
Lead technology teams from the technical solution perspective
Be a sme in the sap technical areas across the technology teams
The key skills required
Specialized knowledge and expertise in sap technical areas such as core abap (ricefw) and abap on hana
Good knowledge and experience of web development technologies like sap ui5, css, odata and javascript
Sound experience in abap and gateway services (including debugging)
Experience in sap fiori setup and configurations, abap cds, fiori elements
Good experience in development and extending sap fiori applications
Sound fundamentals of computer science and mvc architectural concepts
Good hands on experience of tools like git, eclipse
Good understanding of fiori architecture and gateway deployments
Overall understanding of sap cloud platform development and architecture would be an advantage
Experienced in debugging, troubleshooting, packaging and deployment techniques of sapui5&fiori application
