Position summary
Talent business advisor fss: risk and financial advisory career level: manager/executive manager location: hyderabad (most preferred) / bengaluru / gurgaon / mumbai
At deloitte, the business advisor team partners with the business leaders and various talent leaders to drive the delivery of the firm’s talent strategy and co-create various talent initiatives/organization transformation projects in collaboration with coe leadersYou will play a key role in helping business drive the overall talent agenda for your designate business function and work with various coes on organization transformation projectsThese include management of performance for all staff members, guiding the talent acquisition on business needs; developing and retaining key talent; dei; talent relations and employee risk management; compensation and benefits planning etc.
What you will do:
Talent business partnering: (throughout the lifecycle of a professional’s journey)
Work with lead talent advisory and with business leadership to forecast and plan for short, medium, and long-term headcount needs and work with talent acquisition coe to fulfill these requirements in a timely manner while maintaining the quality of talent.
Monitor deployment to ensure there is effective deployment/staffing of professionals in line with their expertise and aspirations; also working with deployment lead to ensure that there is a healthy mix of diversity in each team
Carry out performance management process and compensation revision exercise and provide development inputs to development coe to build suitable learning interventionsPlay the role of a collaborator and adviser to the development coe to provide input for the changing learning and talent development requirements of the professionals ensure that development interventions are carried out in a timely manner.
Organization transformation projects
Actively identify areas of improvement in existing processes; identify efficient and drive such changes in a timely and effective manner.
Provide timely reports and analytics to the talent leadership as well as business leadership
Work with business leaders and fss communications team to establish regular cadence of talent communications and collaborate with the strategy and communication coe to determine the strategy for providing key messaging to the business
Serve as a cultural steward and continuously monitor and communicate organizational culture and engagement to the business to foster a culture that creates competitive advantage for the business while ensuring talent services are aligned with culture and various compliance regulations
Share talent related insights from the industry to the talent team through formal and informal interactions
Work on various projects which are categorized as green dot (firm wide) and blue dot (function wide) in the capacity of the talent representative of the advisory function
Be a an active promoter of talent and talent initiatives internally and externally
Managing relationships
Building collaborative working relationships with various talent coes (e.gDiversity and inclusion, talent development, engagement; global mobility; alumni relations etc.) to influence design of policy and interventions and to ensure smooth execution of various initiatives.
Build strong ability to influence larger talent ba teams across us and usi to bring uniformity in employee experience
Collaborate with the coes on green dot (firm wide) strategies that may influence the fss approach
Qualifications:
Required education: mba or equivalent degree + b.tech / b.e preferred certifications like shrm, phr, sphr etcExperience: 8 to 11 years for manager level; 12 to 14 years for em years
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good command over english
Experience dealing with senior executives in a large matrixed organization
Ability to drive consensus and support for efforts across disparate groups, lead stakeholders to a common goal
Ability to partner with business and provide critical advice for decision making
Ability to network with relevant stakeholders and build strong relationships, leveraging support from team members and providing them guidance
Strong project management experience; smart planning and proven execution skills
Ability to analyze data and make sound observations and recommendations
