Skills and competencies:
Strong understanding of marketing roles in a professional services firm - marketing communications, channel strategy, demand generation, pursuits, campaign management, operations, and impact measurement
Excellent understanding of the aida model and is able to differentiate marketing strategies based on business and campaign objectives such as driving awareness, interest generation, etc.
Ability to plan, strategize and oversee execution of programs that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities within specific, targeted accounts and contacts
Experience in developing and managing compelling content that attracts qualified audience
Strong understanding of digital and key social media channels and content platforms – website, email, twitter, linkedin, podcasts, webcasts, etc.
Big picture thinker with an ability to manage multiple and complex business priorities
Ability to make connections in a highly matrixed environment, with a strong focus on finding synergies and driving integration
Ability to plan, analyze, and present data in intuitive graphical formats and interesting frameworks
Expertise in ms office skills, especially excel and powerpoint and ability to integrate various technologies to support marketing efforts
Attention to detail with an ability to take critical decisions and develop plans to execute
Persuasive communication skills with an ability to gain consensus
Good team leading skills with experience around working in virtual teams
What you’ll do:
As an assistant strategic marketing manager in deloitte services lp, a subsidiary of the deloitte us firms, you will contribute to the growth and development of the organization in a variety of ways.
Key job responsibilities include:
Serve as a marketing and communications advisor to us strategic marketers (sms) and business and marketing leaders
Collaborate with key relationship managers, alliance, and sales teams to develop integrated alliance marketing campaigns to achieve deloitte and partner pipeline goals through marketing automation, events, thought leadership, collateral, and digital marketing.
Develop annual and quarterly marketing plans to meet business goals and work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to execute agile plans and support tracking of marketing budgets aligned to alliance strategy.
Identify and drive marketing programs leveraging alliance market development funds and deloitte investments
Work closely with internal/external agencies to develop demand generation campaigns for our businesses
Measure effectiveness of marketing activities and adjust plans and tactics based upon collected metrics; develop roi reports to showcase the value of marketing efforts to business leaders
Maintain project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful execution of programs with reporting and tracking of leads; consult and collaborate with stakeholders to clearly define requirements and expected results
Keep abreast with the changes in the business environment and the marketing strategies being adopted by key competitors
Create impactful and targeted insights to help sms and leaders take effective business decisions
Lead by example on innovative approaches and new tools by proactively sharing best practices
Ensure team’s adherence to processes, protocols, brand guidelines, and tools for developing deliverables
Develop communication and marketing plans to amplify deloitte’s services and solutions
The assistant manager marketing will serve as a trusted marketing and communications advisor to sms.
Qualifications and experience required:
Master’s degree ideally with a focus in marketing, communications or a related business field
