Assistant manager, financial planning & analysis – strategic analytics, deloitte support services ipl
This position is part of the strategic analytics team, which sits within the deloitte us firm’s financial planning & analysis (fp&a) organization in indiaThe strategic analytics team combines strategic business consulting, analytical thinking and data science skillsets to solve complex business challenges for the finance organization and the broader firm.
Our team is looking for assistant manager to be responsible for leading and executing the technical implementation of our new planning & forecasting platformThis role will have significant exposure to senior firm leadership across enabling areas and businesses and will be responsible for helping deloitte achieve its strategic priorities.
Enabling areas (ea) at the u.sIndia offices are the support arm of the organization and comprise several groups including talent, technology, finance, communications, field operations, etcEa gives every client-service business unit access to the best and brightest resources when it comes to support servicesMore specifically, ea enables the business units to solely focus on satisfying clients and developing new products and services to sustain competitive advantage, while they consolidate and standardize a diverse collection of systems, processes, and functionsThe team provides a wide array of services to the u.s and india professionals, and is continually evaluating and expanding its portfolio.
Work location: hyderabad, bengaluru, gurgaon, and mumbai; shift timings: 2pm to 11pm
Work you’ll do
Serve as a technical sme of new planning and forecasting platform
Manage the implementation of changes into the platform once strategic recommendations are approved
Transform data into useful information on the platform through storyboarding and data visualization
Translate conceptual questions into platform changes to allow leaders to make informed decisions
Facilitate collaboration with its to drive systemic solutions and sustainable impact across the platform
Develop and operationalize reporting to measure the impact of changes
Foster strong relationships with other internal consulting and analytics groups
Provide ad-hoc expertise on the platform framework, approach, and firm data
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, computer science, economics, or another technical discipline
Minimum of 4-6+ years of relevant experience working in finance or it
Anaplan certified model builder(level 1, level 2 and level 3)
Certified anaplan solution architect
Good knowledge of agile methodologies, ability to develop and follow sprint cycles, able to assist users during uat.
Ability to build modules, lists, numbered lists, models, functions, dashboards, views, formatting, calculations, actions, processes, dependent dropdowns, user access, resolve data issues, formula issues, optimization, in anaplan.
Knowledge of and/or willingness to learn analytical tools such as dataiku, r, databricks, or similar tools is a plus
