Essential job functions
Analyzes and determines development and learning needs of assigned segments of the organization and administers plans, procedures, and programs to meet training needs.
Serves as point-of-contact for employee development and learning programs to ensure that development needs are communicated.
Advises/counsels managers and employees on selecting appropriate learning options to meet individuals` and team needs.
Establishes and maintains relationships with providers of learning and development services both internally and externally to leverage appropriate training solutions and understand industry best practices.
Administers and coordinates logistical efforts around employee development and learning programsMay include creating the training environment and maintaining a training schedule.
Maintains learning and development data and metrics to track the progress of developmental objectives.
Basic qualifications
Bachelor`s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor`s degree in business administration, organizational development, human resources or related field preferred
Three or more years of training or employee development experience
Experience working with human resources development and learning principles, practices, and procedures for both on-site and virtual presentations
Experience working with training principles, practices, and procedures
Experience working with company policies and procedures
Experience working with hris and performance management systems
Other qualifications
Interpersonal skills for interacting with team members and trainees
Communications skills
Analytical and creative/resourceful problem-solving skills
Pc proficiency with ms word, excel and powerpoint
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel
