Your responsibilities
The objectives of the role are:
Deliver on all run functions for your portfolio of services, in alignment to the itil framework.
Assist to govern our technology partners to deliver expected outcomes whilst fostering a ‘one team’ partnering approach.
Drive end to end service reviews to proactively identify gaps, collaborate across it to develop service improvement plans and ensure the plans have the right visibility, sponsorship and support from senior stakeholders.
Undertake any other tasks assigned by your manager that you have the capability to perform safely in line with relevant internal bank policies and external regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain relationships so as to have line of sight to, and understanding of, all ongoing and emerging projects and initiatives.
Maintain a strong relationship with business partners and ensure tasks are being performed to contract outcomes.
Know your numbers – ensure we have quality data and reporting to drive trending and analysis, problem management, implement corrective actions, drive continuous improvement and risk management.
Ensure the stability and availability of our production environment is not compromisedEffectively partner/collaborate with architects, projects and change teams to ensure designs are appropriate for their tiering, fully funded, planning, preparation, testing and documentation is thorough and accurate and delivering with no negative customer impacts.
Lead by example – have vision, ideas, energy and the courage to inspire change and bring out the best of our people.
Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of processes/systems/controls to deliver current and future customer, regulatory and compliance needs.
Provide run review, input and advice for new business proposals (rfi, rfp and responses) and for existing service contract reviews/renegotiations
Own and drive any audits of the services within your control, and own and manage any subsequent follow-up activities
Drive and deliver to the group’s core productivity values of huddles, vmb’s, continuous improvement and standard operating procedures in the team.
As part of the team’s culture, you will support, develop and up skilled team members.
Understand and execute risk appropriately - demonstrable risk management utilising the risk framework and operating within the group’s risk appetite statement.

Your qualifications
Leading and transforming an operations team (demonstrable experience reflecting on run outcomes)
Expert in people management and leadership, including leading change and process improvement
Advanced understanding of itil
Broad commercial skills
An advanced understanding and ability to manage large scale it outsourcing environment
Advanced ability working with multiple service providers, owning relationships, establishing sla’s and developing governance frameworks.
Tertiary qualification in it / computer science / related discipline
10+ years relevant experience in supporting solutions using latest version of pega (v7.x/v8.x)
Experience or exposure to technologies such as teamcity, octopus and github
Experience or understanding of sso, ping identity and identity management
Experience in various rules and features like flows, activities, user interface, flow actions, agents, sla, external authentication, prpc security, reports, listeners (file, mq), connectors, rest and soap services etc.
Experience supporting pega both in premise and “cloud”
Experience in full pega implementation cycle using agile methodology
Experience designing applications that exceed user expectations (ux)

10+ years’ experience leading teams
5+ years’ experience working with service providers
Must haves:
Understanding of pega frameworks for different industries and hands on experience on few of them
Understanding and hands-on experience with pega bre (business rules engine)
Pcsa (pega certified systems architect); preferred pcssa (pega certified senior system architect) on pega version 7.x or 8.x
Understanding of unix scripting, excellent skills in any of the rdbms tools like oracle, mssql and should be proficient in pl/sql.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly differentiate between problems caused by hardware, operating systems software, application programs, or network failures
