Title: marketing specialist
Overview: cleo is excited to be hiring a new marketing specialist to work on a wide variety of projects in a fun, fast-paced environmentIn this role, you will work internally with the marketing team and with key stakeholders on supporting marketing initiatives to drive consistency and premium execution, as well as coordination and attendance at tradeshows and company events.
You should have excellent customer service skills, strong written/verbal skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the flexibility to pivot as marketing needs ariseWe are looking for a person who is interested in learning all aspects of marketing and is able to learn quickly on the fly.
This role reports to the senior manager, event marketing.
Coordinate details throughout all event life cycles including creating project plans, recommending vendor placements, tracking budget, and managing all other details associated to hosting a successful tradeshow or field event
Develop, implement, and track marketing programs such as email, social media, or digital campaigns, and events
Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns
Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities
Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums
Work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing needs
To be successful in this role, you may have:
Strong communication, organization and program management skills
Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision
Strong skill in writing and editing content with an attention to detail
A friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality, but still know how to prioritize your work and get it done
2-4 years experience in a similar marketing or event planning role, plus 1-2 years in an administrative role a plus
Ability to travel as necessary (when permitted)
An eagerness to work in an ever-changing, fast-paced startup environment
A growth mindset – you are always looking for ways to improve your craft and are experienced with giving and receiving design critique
Background in and/or passion for working in health services related to women’s health, maternity, or childcare
