Summary of the position:
The principal solutions consultant is responsible for solution strategies, training, and pre-sales technical support aspects of the certara data science softwareThe principal solutions consultant is a technical lead in the whole software cycle of selling, implementing solutions, supporting, and training customers.
Technical expert in pre-sales qualification and support.
Prepare strategies and best practices for customers
Develop and explain solutions on basis of customer’s strategic business and technical requirements.
Understand and communicate to product managers and customer success managers any existing and evolving customer requirements.
Assist customization, installation and integration of solution.
Perform closely with project management to explain project schedules and deliverables.
Identify and influence organization and partner resources to satisfy technical needs plus objectives of implementation.
Provide technical leadership throughout execution of an engagement.
Create and deliver training for live and on-demand courses
Support the training team to plan, coordinate, and execute certara university departmental goals
Responsible to share information as well as best practices with others.
Develop and prepare strong customer relations ensuring ”customer for life” relationship.
Master of science, or ph.dDegree (or equivalent) in a specialty area such as pharmacokinetics, pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology, toxicology, statistics, or mathematics
10+ years relevant work experience
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech (including service provides to those industries) or sciences-related industries
Skills and abilities:
Familiarity with pmx concepts and data science
Excellent oral communication and presentation skills
Excellent written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to issue tracking, triaging and crisis management.
Ability to efficiently manage multiple customer projects simultaneously.
Ability to communicate with internal and external customers and all levels of management.
Ability to understand and manage client expectations effectively.
Ability to travel up to 25%
