Position summary
Cellares is seeking an innovative and highly motivated software test automation engineer who will contribute significantly to the development of our advanced cell therapy manufacturing platform.
The primary focus of this position is to generate and review software test plans, test cases, automated test scripts, and execution of theseDuring this process, you will develop hardware simulators and develop automated test cases from manual test casesYou will manage test automation infrastructure for distributed web-based instrument control software.
This is a multidisciplinary role & this individual will interface across many parts of the company (with scientists, researchers, and engineers) to develop the best solutions possibleThe successful candidate will be a resident expert in test automation and should have experience developing software for complex and large hardware.
Candidates should enjoy working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, and be prepared to tackle a broad selection of challenges as the company grows.
Responsibilities
Develop automated test cases from manual test cases.
Maintain test automation infrastructure.
Develop hardware simulators.
Generate and review software test plans, test cases, and execution of test cases.
Integrating with third party applications and devices.
Analyze and troubleshoot test results against requirements.
Lead and train junior test and quality software engineers.
Requirements
Bachelors or masters in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field.
0-6 years relevant experience and a bachelor`s degree or master`s degree.
Operational and testing experience of software that interacts with hardware systems.
Experience with root cause analysis and identifying defects.
Experience debugging and correcting issues with test equipment.
Process data, interpret testing results and provide feedback to the team.
