Catchpoint`s webpagetest is seeking a proven product marketing manager to drive developer awareness and acquisitionEnabling our users who are looking for web performance solutions to be ever more successful in delivering value to end-usersThe pmm will have an outstanding ability to develop compelling, high-quality, and innovative content for developers to use webpagetest to improve user experience and business outcomes.
In this role, you will be the expert on communicating how developers can measure and identify web performance enhancements, including how they can build powerful integrations and custom scripts on top of webpagetest and contribute to the open source framework.
Own the creation and execution of developer awareness and run effective developer campaigns to rapidly convert users into webpagetest and catchpoint customers with a focus on goals and metrics.
Manage campaign channels that include email, social media, newsletters, paid advertising, publications and more.
Support product launches and help scale adoptionCollect, analyze, and report data, metrics, kpis, and user feedback.
Share developer feedback and sentiments with product management, engineering, and executive leadership teams to help inform product strategy and roadmap.
Create compelling, unique, and interactive content to grab developers’ attention.
Synthesize market trends, customer needs and competitive offering to develop value propositions, messages, and positioning that translates webpagetest capabilities into unique and meaningful business benefit.
Manage editorial and content calendar; source, schedule, and prepare internal and external speakers; work with subject matter experts and the developer experience and product management teams to publish timely, helpful, and high-quality content including video and livestreams.
Collaborate with our developer experience, product, ux design, engineering and sales enablement teams to deploy strategic and tactical gtm, backed by data and hypothesis-based experiments across both the marketing and product experience.
Drive webpagetest awareness through community engagementsPlan, execute, amplify, and scale virtual and in-person experiences that delight developers everywhere.
Company revenue performance against goals
Webpagetest adoption and revenue performance through both online and enterprise channels
Content effectiveness measured by sales adoption and win/loss metrics, seo authority, page views, email registrations, and favorable placement in independent market research
Shaping compelling product enhancements on webpagetest and as it pertains to catchpoint suite of product and solutions offerings.
5+ years of related product marketing experience, including a focus on developer platforms.
Strong understanding and working knowledge of marketing technologies in the product-led growth space
Tech and publication systems knowledge – google tag manager, google analytics, salesforce, hubspot, google ads, linkedin, twitter, stackoverflow, reddit, dzone, dev.to etc.
Cms, html/css and website management understanding is a plus
Demonstrated success in positioning industry-leading products and solutions.
Created or managed developer communities engagement and acquisition around products that are either self-service, freemium or product-led experiences.
Demonstrate a passion for relating to technical audiences and making sophisticated concepts simple to understand for users.
Show success in having tackled ambiguous problems and broken them down into well-scoped solutions.
Outstanding communication skills, including storytelling ability, and extraordinary writing skillsAbility to modulate content to speak to different internal and external audiences
Demonstrated skill in presenting to executive audiences internally and externally.
Ba/bs degree preferred.
