The program director apac is a leadership role, leads multiple technology projects in the regionWe are looking for a persuasive leader who can partner effectively with all levels of the organization regionally and globally, delivering exceptional resultsHe/she has the primary responsibility to ensure that the program produces the desired business benefits and value, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and costKey accountabilities
Provide expert thought leadership as a program manager and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problemsYou may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
Provides strategic vision to the program team utilizing expert knowledge of portfolio management and thorough business/technical acumen.
Leads periodic program reviews utilizing expert knowledge of the project delivery process.
Provides mentorship, coaching and development for team members and functional leads as appropriate.
Defines program objectives and scope utilizing expert knowledge of project management practices and procedures.
Accountable for development of the integrated project plan for each project within the program.
Project execution and control
Leads the execution of programs with high cost and risk
Utilizes the project management framework to achieve program objectives of delivered on time, on budget and business results are realized for high cost and risk programs.
Regularly measures and monitors program progress to identify variances from the plan and make needed corrections for high cost and risk programs.
Monitor and report on the status of projects including cost, timing and staffing.
Independently organize project teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop project schedules, and resolve resource requirements.
Other duties as assigned qualifications
Bachelor`s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 6 years of related work experience
Other minimum qualifications may apply.
Minimum 5 years experience delivering multiple technology projects in a global organization.
Minimum 12 years of overall work experience with at least 5 years program management experience implementing an erp/sap system
Proven ability to apply project and portfolio management methodologies, tools, and processes
Strategic thinking/problem solving
Proven team leadership/coaching/mentoring
Relationship building at all levels and cross-function/platform
Manage the project organization or supervise a team in a global or virtual environment
Demonstrated ability to lead change management efforts
Vendor relationship and contract management experience
Experience managing a budget of $5m +
Experience leading the implementation of a large sap erp system
Sap function experience in fico,sd,mm,pp,acm,pm, etc is a plus
