As a senior account manager within the care management account management organization you will be responsible for exceeding internal/external client expectations of the care management program(s) via supporting health plans and employer groups across the product portfolioThe senior account manager will be responsible for maintaining day to day business relationship with key internal and client personnel and understanding their objectivesUnderstanding of these objectives is required to proactively recommend and promote the care management program to assist in meeting client business objectivesThe senior account manager is responsible for the performance of contracted programs and services and supports efforts tied to overall client satisfaction, retention and expansion of national, complex key client accountsThe position will facilitate delivery, interpretation and presentation of financial and client reportsThe senior account manager will serve as a subject matter expert for the sales/account management teamThe senior account manager may be responsible for an assigned client base in addition to supporting national, key complex clientsKey functions include onsite review preparation, facilitation of client calls, reporting product outcomes and values as well as all activities in support of retaining our client baseAs a member of the client facing team, the senior account manager may represent care management at regional and national client conferences and other functionsThe senior account manager may also facilitate and assist with onboarding new team members and providing training to the sales/account management team.
Additional responsibilities for the senior account manager include:
Own, retain and contribute to upsell into assigned client base and support care management and pbm account executives as needed.
Track and forecast changes in assigned client base that would impact revenue and communicate that effectively within the organization.
-manage/assist with legal and contracting needs for assigned client base as applicable - including, changes to contract terms, assisting or facilitating contract renewal, upselling, and interpreting contractual deliverables.
Build and maintain relationships client contacts within assigned base and in support of the care management and pbm account executives.
Management of day to day contact with assigned clients
Facilitate, lead and manage all follow ups from client conference calls on routine basis.
Create and maintain project plans for each assigned project, discuss and assign tasks to appropriate staff and update project on a timely basis.
Create agendas, schedule and facilitate internal and external meetings with parties as appropriate.
Document and track open items via current tracking system.
Work closely with internal and external teams to proactively identify actual and potential problems.
Facilitate discussions with appropriate team members and institute preventive steps to ensure tasks accurately and according to agree upon timelines.
Proactively identify and escalate critical issues where company resources and capabilities do not meet client expectations.
Perform other projects, work and activities as assigned to ensure continuous service to our internal and external customers.
Present the care management program(s) and effectively communicate program value both to internal stakeholders and external client base.

2+ years account management within a healthcare or technology environment
