Cr-bps is seeking an architectural cad technician with building science expertise to join our growing teamThis individual will be responsible for maintaining and expanding cr-bps’s
Facility/site - asset management and high-performance architecture core servicesThis position offers tremendous growth opportunity.
The primary responsibilities required for the employee are as follows:
Architectural drafting through all phases of design with the guidance of the lead
Build the revit (bim software) library as needed
Assist in creation of a standard of practice for sheet layouts
Lead technology initiatives
On-going research of advancements in sustainable building science practices
Assist in completion of existing and future projects throughout all project phases: o assessment/audit o planning
O conceptual/schematic design o design development o construction administration o occupancy and post occupancy o testing, monitoring and verification
Provide support for other core areas (facility/site asset management and building
Client relationship management with new and existing clients
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, associates or technical degree in architectural drafting or related field
Additional certifications, preferred but not mandatory: o leed accredited professional
Minimum 2 years of experience working in the architectural drafting industry
Demonstrated successful experience working with/for local, state and/or federal governments
Strong knowledge of revit and microsoft office suite
Must work from, manage, and operate personal office in minnesota or western
Work collaboratively with remote team in minnesota and wisconsin
Ability to communicate effectively via phone/web/email/video conference for meetings, brainstorm sessions, project collaboration, project deliverables, mentorship and check-ins with clients and team.
Must have access to: o a reliable motor vehicle o a pc computer that is a laptop/portable and is a 2018 or later model with large hard drive storage o cell phone with high quality reception o high speed internet o printer/scanner/copier
