Manage priorities with support teams in all designated locations
Drive service improvement initiatives, partnering across the enterprise
Core development team
Client service management
Corporate it and governance groups
Manage overall service delivery including the management of open cases to include
Ensure and manage the quality of the service being delivered by any off shore or partner support team
Major incident and problem management, providing client focus for critical incidents and ensuring robust follow up
Act as a primary client escalation point
Manage client priorities and expectations for future releases
Ensure that effective monitoring is in place across supported services
Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of support services through continual improvement and challenge
Identify, champion and implement process improvements this may include
Client satisfaction surveys and additional feedback from clients
Continual reviews of key performance indicators across the group
Ensuring appropriate governance procedures are adhered to in order to best facilitate operations in support of the business
Manage line reports and be responsible for
Setting of objectives and monitoring progress against these objectives
Monthly one to one meeting and associate report generation
Personnel initiatives and issues
Career progression management
Develop and maintain effective resource planning, recruitment and retention cross locationsEnsuring sufficient cover is available during client supported hours
Extensive leadership skills including
The ability to act as key escalation point and to lead a group in service delivery
Motivational team leader who has the ability to resolve conflict
Leadership of diverse cross locational teams
Coaching individuals and development of talent across the group
Relevant experience in a financial services organization, ideally in the post trade business.
Strong organizational and planning skills
Strong and clear communication , both written and oral
Critical thinking and problem solving skills this must include the ability to
Make informed decisions
Escalate when appropriate
A skilled negotiator with an ability to influence and ensure conclusive resolution
Flexible approach to work and used to working in a stressful environment
A champion of innovation and continual improvement
Able to build and maintain strong relationships both internally and with clients
An appreciation of itil requirements and either with or a service delivery background
