Job description
Azure senior data modeler
Job description
Responsible for the designing and developing data models in the azure data lake
Build mappings from source (e.gView) to target (e.gTable) objects
Collaborate with key stakeholders to analyze demands and contribute to cost/benefit analysis and estimation
Gather requirements and deliver data solution to address those requirements
Design etl/elt process from the source systems
Build and maintain data integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity
Ensure development follow standard coding patterns, are fully documented and meet design requirements
Implement automated testing
Monitor performance of data pipeline, troubleshoot incident and provide support to end-users
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in sql and microsoft bi stack (ssis, ssrs and ssas)
4+ years of experience in azure data engineer platform (azure sql, azure data factory, azure data lake, delta lake, azure databricks, synapse, could storage, scala)
Experience with azure devops, git version control
Experience with sql, dimensional modeling
Experience in data warehouse best practices, development standards and methodologies
Good knowledge about azure cloud infrastructure, security and development
Execution experience with agile/scrum project methodology
Knowledge on power platform (nice to have)
Good oral and written communication skill
Azure certification would be an added advantage
