About the role:
Bitdefender seeks an industry focused product marketer to join our enterprise solutions product marketing teamThis is a key role, identifying and then infusing relevant industry / vertical and compliance elements into several of our key go-to-market areas, including managed detection and response (mdr) and cloud workload security (cws) solutionsYou will help support industry specific market and buyer insights, messaging and positioning, and help lead content development, demand generation, and field and channel enablement activities emphasizing these top verticals and the compliance mandates they fall under.
Successful candidates must have prior experience in marketing at a technology companyStrong preference will be given to candidates with a current or former role helping drive industry specific activities in context of broader product marketing initiativesThe role will be an area for high growth potentialWe value creative, out-of-the-box thinkers, unafraid of challenging the status quo, who are adept at working with cross-functional teams across the us and worldwide to successfully achieve business objectives.
Continuously analyze buyer needs across top industries, keeping up on the latest trends and landscape to inform channel and partnership decisions and content development
Help support the go-to-market plans of the mdr and cws teams as well as other members of the business solutions marketing team
Promote industry specific materials to be used by sales, channel partner, and other company resources to understand economic buyer, champion, and technical influencer needs and how the company’s offerings address them
Partner closely with product management to continuously evaluate the best fit for industry and compliance focus
Support product/solution launches in collaboration with demand generation, communications, and product management – ensuring key product & technical marketing deliverables are executed on time with high-quality and appropriate industry and compliance elements
Support industry and compliance marketing content for all stages of the buyers’ journey including presentations, whitepapers, solution briefs, landing pages, videos, blogs, etc.
Help create and manage tools to support the sales cycle such as sales kits and buyer guides, as well as tools to support demand generation assets and activities across partnerships
Support channel enablement content and delivery including development of call scripts, training presentations, cheat sheets, etc.
1-3 years of experience in marketing at a technology company, industry experience and previous product marketing background a plus
Familiarity with gtm strategies
Strong writing skills across both long form and short form collateral
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills in front of customers, sales and executive audiences
Experience with product/technology evangelism in 1x1 discussions and industry events / conferences
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal cross-functional teams and external customers
Demonstrated ability to work across continents with global team members.
Proven project management skills for complex projects
Understanding and prior active participation in social media product/solution promotion and engagement (twitter, linkedin)
Must be self-motivated and a proactive self-starter
Ba/bs degree required
Some travel (up to 20%) will be required
