We are looking for a program manager to join the organization for leading, inspiring, motivating multi-functional teams, enabling the development and delivery of saas applicationsThis is a key role in driving agile and lean frameworks that result in quality product delivery and continuous improvementThis role will report within the global engineering organization with responsibility of facilitating and drive multi-team programs.
Roles and responsibilities:
Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives
Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement
Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached
Responsible for facilitating scrum process with cross-functional scrum teams for medium/complex projects.
Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors
Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
Analyse, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders
Coach scrum team(s) to deliver capabilities using agile practices while also following software development lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes as appropriate to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met.
Communicate with different stakeholders, both business and technical, to ensure business-value driven delivery and continuous improvement of the team.
Partner with engineering/product managers to discuss and resolve their concerns on governance policies and adherence to corporate standards.
Identifies skills and competencies of scrum team members and makes adjustments accordingly to promote development and highly effective teams.
Experience & education qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
8+ years in an advanced management role (preference given to those with program management experience)
Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
Working knowledge of digital marketing
Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
Active scrum master certifications – csm, psm or equivalent.
Passion and drive to help team improve and deliver great products
Should have technical acumen to understand the product and project deliverables.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly articulate and communicate the technical artefacts.
Good to have – experience with microsoft azuredevops.
