What you’ll do:
Act as the voice of the away brand, leading community engagement and outreach across away’s social channels, and the larger travel community across platforms, to build long lasting relationships and brand loyalty
Own community team contributions to marketing initiatives and programs in collaboration with cross-functional partners and manager
Define our voice and tone in partnership with brand and cx partners, owning community comms and macro creation
Recommend new tests to launch disruptive social activations and initiatives, tapping into community feedback and consumer trends to plan
Lead community initiatives and projects, both existing and new, from planning to execution
Capture community insights to inform our social strategy, and work across marketing, tech, design, and product teams to improve the overall consumer experience
Maintain an awareness of social media trends, best practices, and platform developments, with a special focus in travel
Who you are:
Have 3-4 years experience working at a brand or agency in social media, or community engagement
Social media obsessed—you live and breath social
Natural and friendly conversationalist who is excited to engage with our incredibly active community
Passionate about customer experience and fostering community
Creative problem solver
Must be available to work weekends during busy periods (holidays)
Team player with a `no task is too small` attitude
Enjoys working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Passionate about transforming travel (but that’s a given!)
