Job summary: directs the implementation and administration of programs, practices and procedures, often encompassing several areas of human resources including employee relations, talent acquisition, talent management, compensation, benefits, and trainingConsults with hr executives and business leadership to ensure hr, center of excellence (coe), and service delivery center (sdc) programs support the organization.
Develops hr strategies for the organization often spanning multiple levels and crossing business/geographical lines.
Ability to partner with center of excellence (coe) consultants and service delivery center (sdc) resources to provide advanced consulting and support in talent acquisition and management, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, compensation, and benefits.
Effectively interacts at all levels in coaching leaders and facilitates and/or provides strategic hr solutions.
Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the group.
Manages the hiring, staffing and maintenance of a diverse and effective workforce.
Directs, motivates and develops hr staff to design and implement best-practice hr programs vital to the organization’s success and growth.
Ensures hr support is allocated appropriately to meet the changing needs of the organization.
Manages and/or participates in hr projects and programs.
Utilizes operational excellence (opx) techniques to define and execute improvements to hr processes.
Ensures adherence to applicable governmental regulations.
Provides consulting and business partnering to leaders in achieving company objectives and coaching employees.
Partners with the business in strategic workforce planning, candidate evaluation and selection and organization development.
Drives employee engagement strategies and initiatives.
May manage external vendor contracts, negotiations and relationships.

Typically 10+ years including 5+ years of management experience
Education and certification(s):
Bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
Sphr, gphr, or shrm-scp preferred (u.s.)
