Responsibilities:
Individuals will support various engineering, scientific, analysis, policy, planning, and program management of defense space activitiesSpecific tasks may include:
Oversee and guide optical communications payload design, development, integration, and test activities
Evaluate optical communications payload systems and technologies
Oversee the development and integration of tactical data link payloads
Coordinate the development of operational procedures for tactical data link payloads, including joining networks, maintaining connections, and mission planning
Required qualifications:
9 years’ directly related experience
Optical engineering or optical sciences degree required
Masters degree required.
Ts sci eligibility required.
Occasional travel may be required.
