Reporting to the senior accountant, you will be directly responsible for processing and
Reconciling revenue for our business, managing all company bank accounts, as well as
Managing accounting for our value add services departmentYou will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement across all accounting and financial processes within the business.
Your role and responsibilities
Ensuring all revenue is recorded correctly and accurately each month, by revenue
Reconciling revenue accounts to supporting documents, including invoices and cash
Completing bank reconciliations and managing company bank accounts.
Accounting for income earned on our value add services, such as financing income,
Extended warranty and insurance income.
Ensuring gst / vas is accounted for correctly.
Ensuring deposits and accrued income are recorded accurately and completely.
Perform all accounting processes, including the preparation of month end journals
And general ledger reconciliationsEnsuring all month end procedures are completed
Accurately and in accordance with communicated timeframes.
Manage the month end review process and ensure all reconciliations are prepared
And reviewed before the month end reporting cut-off.
Ensuring all relevant accounting standards and principles are complied with.
Year end processes, including responding to audit queries.
Training and supervision of staff, as required.
Developing better processes and procedures for your areas of responsibility.
Implementing best practices to ensure balance sheet accounts are reviewed and
Cleared out in a timely manner.
Leading a business partnering approach to your areas of responsibility, such that
Your work is led by a knowledge of the underlying businessLiaising directly with
Senior management in australia to achieve this.
Providing support to the broader team as and when required.
Essential skills, experience and qualifications:
Ca / cpa / mba / ipcc qualified with 3-5 years of post-qualified experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong accounting skills and good grasp of accounting concepts.
Ability to collaborate and work well in a cross-functional team.
Self-motivated and driven.
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong excel and analytical skills.
Attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills.

Good working knowledge of sap or similar erp.
Inventory management / vendor payment knowledge
