We are looking for assistant project manager to join our teamThis role will be based at our atkins office in bangalore, in.
How will you contribute to the team?
To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Work within the team to provide a range of programme and project management duties from project inception to completion.
Provide effective delivery of project management services across range of market sectors.
Prepare and maintain project execution plan, or similar management tool, establish review, approval, variation and reporting proceduresPrepare recommendations for the client’s approval.
Prepare and maintain a project execution plan, or similar management tool, identifying the roles and responsibilities of the client, the professional team, the contractor and specialist sub-contractors and suppliersEstablish review, approval, variation and reporting proceduresPrepare recommendations for the client’s approval.
Issue instructions, on behalf of the client, to the professional team and contractor in accordance with the terms of their appointments/the building contract.
Monitor the performance of the professional team and the contractorSupport the pm to report to the client.
Prepare and maintain the programme for the design, procurement and construction of the projectMonitor actual against planned progress.
Check applications for payment from the professional team, check other invoices related to the project.
Arrange for the preparation and maintenance of cash flow forecasts and other statements monitoring expenditure on the project.
Prepare a risk management strategyPrepare and maintain a risk register.
Obtain contract drawings and specifications from the client and the professional teamLiaise with the client’s legal advisers, prepare the contract documents and deliver to the client and the contractor for completion.
Facilitate, set up and manage early warning and risk reduction meetings.
Obtain a breakdown of the cost plan from the contractor consistent with the work package procurement strategy.
Standardize/ automate/ develop processes and tools to track and analyze the project costs including budgets, commitments, actuals, accruals, forecasts, contingencies analysis.
What will you contribute?
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills is essential.
A result oriented individual able to handle stakeholders with a strong ability to influence, guide and provide critical feedback ability to manage multiple projects.
Bachelor`s / master`s degree in engineering, optional business degree.
Min of 7 years hands exp to programme, projects management and controlling in an international environment with experience in the procurement / contracting field.
Sound knowledge in all aspects (cost, schedule, quality) of project controlling and reporting with special focus on trend evaluation and forecastingSolid hands-on experience into analytical / data interpretation skills.
Certified project management professional / rics or equivalent credential(s), knowledge of nec jct contracts.
Expertise in o365 apps.
Knowhow in msp, primavera p6, powerbi & data analytics.
Knowhow in automation using powerapps & excel vba.
