What you’ll do at ather:
Accountable for delivery of complete design of process and manufacturing line for all the assigned pcba and module projects to the team.
Responsible for meeting time, cost and quality targets.
Monitor proto, pilot and early production buildsRecord bugs and deviations and implement appropriate containment, corrective and preventive actions to assure the targeted quality & yields.
Drive build documentation reviews internally and with external stakeholders - bom analysis, assembly ctqs, process definition (pfc), control plan, pfmea, fai report/build report of the effective new product implementation.
Thorough knowledge of nre’s (expStencils, assembly jigs & fixtures, wave pallets, special purpose jigs, press fit jig, dip solder jig) required in manufacturing along with its cost and materials usedAlso ability to evaluate internal development compared with ems partners according to the requirements.
Use knowledge and/or expertise of pcb fabrication of 2-layer and multi-layer boards to help execute pcb dfm & manufacturing.
Gerber reviews – should have knowledge of fabrication and assembly layers, use the tool to handle tq’s, working gerber comparison & checkplot verification to enhance detection at early stage itself.
Ensure mbom, bop, pfd, work instructions, maintenance guidelines are delivered by the team to the corresponding ems vendors (contract manufacturer).
Working with vendors in communicating requirements, reviewing designs and line setup at vendor places.
Ability to predict/or forecast manufacturing cycle times and yield to meet the takt and oee requirements
Responsible for line stabilisation and ppap for all the projects.

Test plan and testing point coverage
Understanding gerbers
Familiarity with microcontroller / microprocessor / dsp architecture – registers, bus, pwm, dma, watchdog, adc,dac, timers, led driver ics etc.
4g, gnss, wi-fi, bt wireless protocols testing
Understanding on nre requirements for pcb, pcba and module development.
Tools:
Ecad, cad, dfm tools (valor / allegro / cam master), serial protocol analyzer,usb analyzer, can analyzer, dso, dmm, lcr meter, spectrum analyzer etc.

B.e or equivalent with specialization in electrical / electronics / electronics & communication / instrumentation & control
8-12 years of relevant experience in npi activities for pcb, pcba & module development in automotive / iot systems / portable consumer electronics domain.
