Join us as we work to create a thriving ecosystem that delivers accessible, high-quality, and sustainable healthcare for allWe are looking for a technical account manager (tam) to join our client technology teamAs a tam you will draw on your customer-facing skills and technical acumen to help our most complex and strategic customers successfully adopt and support athenahealth’s browser based solutions in their tech infrastructure environmentsThis role acts as an extension of customer it and collaborates with customer success management (csm) teams for responding to and addressing account needs.
As a tam, you will engage with diverse stakeholder groups, including executives of large enterprisesYou will utilize your relationship management skills and technical credibility to effectively communicate at all stakeholder cohort levelsResponsibilities include understanding and proactively preventing client-side technology issues from occurring, quarterbacking client-side technology issues when they do occur, building deep relationships with client-side technologists, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on technical initiatives.
Experience supporting web applications in complex desktop and network environments is core to the roleApplication troubleshooting, desktop packaging and deployment, and network troubleshooting are typical opportunities of engagementIn addition, tenacity and the ability to research and understand client side problems to closure is a mustA former healthcare it manager who is looking for a different day to day experience would be an ideal candidate.

Quarterback technology issues that impact athenanet’s usability for assigned clients
Develop strategic relationships with stakeholders to understand a customer’s business and develop strategic roadmapsManage quarterly business reviews and executive sessions to better understand business and technical needs.
Plan for customer events and launches, partnering with support, engineering, and sre to ensure customer success during critical momentsWork with customers and support to guide issues/escalations to resolution.
Help shape the technical toolkit and capabilities required on the team to solve operational challenges
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
Knowledge of it operations, database systems, networking, it security, application development, service architecture, cloud-native application development, hosted services, storage systems, or content delivery networks.
Experience supporting customers in cloud operations (launch and capacity planning, product release management), technical support, escalation management, or it consulting.
Experience translating business requirements into technological solutions and collaborating across business units.
Strong analytical skills with emphasis on using logging and visualization tools to spot patterns and transform raw data into actionable insightsSql knowledge is a plus but not required
