As a principal pre-sales solution consultant, you will become a part of an innovative, retail-focused, collaborative global team that works closely together to grow our strategic portfolio of leading retailersYou will be supporting the sales team during the sales cycle, assisting in creating the sales strategy, and demonstrating the solution capabilities that address retailers` objectives and challenges.
Key responsibilities:
Sales strategy: collaborate with the sales team to build the sales strategy & account plan that aligns with retailers` needs and solution capabilities.
Business discovery: guide retailers to share their market pressures, pricing & process challenges, required solution capabilities, and use cases
Story telling: consultative approach to provide the solution, technical and retail expertise and demonstrate solution capabilities
Rfx: lead the cross-functional team to respond to rfis/rfps during the sales cycle
Teamwork: partner and collaborate with sales, product, marketing, and professional services to identify ways to strengthen our messaging, sales execution & value proposition
Prospecting: collaborate with the business development & sales team to create account-specific messages and engage in marketing events to drive leads
Pre-sales process: define best practices and solution stories that are best suited for retailers by vertical/industry
Market needs: provide inputs to the product team and inform product strategy by sharing requirements, needs & specific use cases from the prospects and customers
Executive presence: prepare and deliver presentations to all customer stakeholders including the c-suite
Requirements:
Experience: 5+ years of presales experience selling advanced enterprise software solutions to retailers or 5+ experience working in merchandising or pricing group at a retailer
Communication: excellent communication and storytelling skillsAbility to effectively create and deliver presentations to all levels of retailer stakeholders
Process management: experience with business requirements definition and scoping, process design, and use case documentation
Good listener: ability to quickly understand the needs of a prospective client and then position the revionics solution appropriately to meet those needs
Language: fluent in spanish or portuguese required
Education: bachelor`s degree in a business or quantitative field
Travel: ability to travel 20-50% of the time to retailers in the latam region
