Grow your career as a marketing coordinator, digital merchandising with alg vacationsYou will be responsible for managing and overseeing all site content for the b2b websites where travel agents book travel for their clients, as well as co-leading the development of our alg vacations website with 3rd party driven ui/ux experienceThis role requires someone with a passion for digital strategy, an understanding of site performance and an interest in backend content managementIn this position, you will also engage in other marketing roles including program management, promotional campaign management and email campaign managementYou will become familiar with the entire alg vacations b2b brand portfolio regularly working to uphold brand standards and campaign communications across brandsIn addition, you will partner with the revenue management, supplier engagement, and supplier strategy & investment teams to identify the best-performing products to merchandise, regularly optimizing to seize opportunities to increase conversion and revenueThis position reports to the srManager, campaign marketing & digital merchandising strategy.

A successful marketing coordinator, digital merchandising will:
Coordinate all co-operative engagement as it relates to b2b website, determining the messaging and creative, managing the relationship for approvals with the hotels and governments, and strategizing if placements need to be moved to better align with initiatives
Lead special digital promotions with your marketing coordinator peers, coordinating all necessary assets for engagement, deciding where and how to promote based on current media schedules and initiatives
Assist in email campaign management from request to copy to creative and through proper approvals, including incorporating of cooperative funds if applicable
Understand the b2b model, assisting the sales team with flyer and other marketing needs
Understand the overarching site map for the alg vacations b2b brands
Collaborate with our internal creative services team to keep our brands within brand standards across all digital projects
Leverage website analytics to understand performance and customer interaction with categories, featured product placement and general online shopping experiences to help identify opportunities and wins
Provide marketing support for any new programs, product launches or incentives
Provide proof of performance as needed for co-op marketing dollars
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing or related field
1-3 years of marketing experience
Creative, self-motivated and ready to take initiative
Strong writing, spelling, grammar and attention to detail is vital
Strong time management and follow up skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational, clerical and project management skills
Self-motivated and driven to succeed
Ability to communicate effectively and present ideas to business leaders
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to comply with strict deadlines and handle multiple tasks at once
Flexibility and willingness to conform to changing job responsibilities
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-orientated environment
Competency in leveraging customer insight to creatively introduce forward thinking and dynamic approaches to merchandising
Ability to work effectively with multiple leaders across various vacation brands
Experience with episerver or back end content management, digital commerce or digital marketing platforms required
Familiarity with business management tools such as teams, trello, google analytics, skype, qualtrics, or any sharepoint site is ideal
