The team handles verification of gmsl products which include digital data paths, high speed interfaces, video processing and end to end from soc to display signal chain.
As an experienced senior engineer in this group, candidate will work with the latest verification methodologies on designs ranging from individual blocks to chip level and system level verification for these chips at application level.
Job responsibilities:
Verification of complex designs and subsytems using the most leading edge methodologies .
Planning and strategizing to effectively verify a design (block as well as full-chip).
Define testplan, tests and verification methodology for block / chip level verificationWork with design team in generating test-plans and closure of code and functional coverage.
Employ uvm based verification methodology and use assertions, functional/code coverage, formal verification etcTo reach verification goals.
Gate level simulations of large digital tops and fullchip with excellent debug skills.
Continuous interaction with analog co-sim and application team in enabling top level chip verification aspects.
Support post-silicon verification activities of the products working with design, product evaluation and applications engineering team
Drives decisions to develop or enhance verification methodologies.
May require working with emulation platforms.
Expected to mentor, actively consult and/or lead junior engineers to achieve dv goals
Job requirements:
B.tech/m.techIn ee/ece with 8 – 12 years of experience in digital soc verification.
Should be proficient in system verilog, uvm, c, perl, python.
Knowledge of state-of-the-art verification techniques employing formal verification, testbench qualification, emulation for faster verification is required.
Experience with testplan development and development of verification environment from ground up is required.
Knowledge of i2c, uart, spi, rgmii, sgmii, lvds, serdes, video interfaces, audio interfaces.
Soc verification with mixed signal blocksIntegrate multiple ip based vip modules into fullchip verification and complete the verification plan and execute
Strong inter-personal, teamwork and communication skills are required.
Expected to be highly independent, proactive and result oriented to achieve dv goals
Experience in technically mentoring, coaching junior engineers is very highly desirable.
